Very Hanseatic:
Christmas at the Goose Market

The Christmas Market at the Goose Market (Gänsemarkt): The goose market (german: Gänsemarkt) is centrally located in the city - a short walk from the town square, or the Jungfernstieg.

Romance with room for socializing

The huts of the Christmas market "Gänsemarkt" are centrally located in the city - easily accessible from the "Jungfernstieg" at the southern border of the Binnenalster or from the Hamburg City Hall. The subway station Gänsemarkt (U2) is located directly opposite.

The Christmas market at the goose market is a rather small and not very intensely visited one and therefore particularly suitable for groups and families. Although the small market has no seating, you can chill and drink mulled wine and escape the hustle and bustle of many other Christmas markets in the town center or the more crowded streets like the "Mönkebergstraße".
